Vegganish—Strive For 95-5 To Thrive To 105
The best and easiest way to fuel our bodies is to consume food that is real, unprocessed, non-GMO, and organic (local when available). Our dietary intake should be mostly raw, gluten-free, dairy-free, and primarily plant-based (95%), with at least one serving of fermented food per day. As for animal-based products (5%), only consume organic pasture-raised farmers market or homegrown eggs, not more than twice per month and Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certified salmon, Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certified Norwegian ocean trout (similar to salmon), or New Zealand king (chinook) salmon not more than once per month.
I have coined this style of eating as Vegganish and through extensive research have found that following the Vegganish lifestyle will optimize energy, endurance, performance, recovery, immunity, and will help avoid inflammation and promote overall systemic health.
